Who We Are

Brian Ted Jones was born in 1984 and raised in the towns of Talihina and Red Oak. As a seventh-generation Oklahoman and a proud Choctaw citizen, his roots here run deep. He graduated from Talihina Public Schools, St. John’s College, and the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He was a criminal defense lawyer for six years and spent 2016 working for the Kirkpatrick Foundation as Director of Education. When State Question 788 qualified for the ballot that year, Brian began studying the measure, and started representing medical marijuana businesses soon after voters approved the measure.

Max Federman was born and raised in Oklahoma City. He graduated from Heritage Hall High School before earning a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Before becoming a lawyer, Max worked in entertainment, political campaigns, and public policy, including working on Oklahoma’s successful Medicaid expansion campaign. He joined Brian Ted Jones, PC in 2024.
