Who I Am

I’m Brian Ted Jones, an Oklahoma native born in 1984 and raised in the small towns of Talihina and Red Oak. As a seventh-generation Oklahoman and a proud Choctaw citizen, my roots run deep in this state. I graduated from Talihina Public Schools, earned my degree from St. John’s College, and received my law degree from the University of Oklahoma. My journey and heritage shape my commitment to serving Oklahoma’s communities and businesses.

A Day That Defines My Work

On August 29, 2019, I had the privilege of representing the proponents of State Question 803, a referendum petition that sought to bring the Legislature’s permitless carry law to a public vote. That same day marked a pivotal moment in Oklahoma’s medical marijuana program with the implementation of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.

While my clients spoke to reporters in the Oklahoma Secretary of State’s office, I was hard at work preparing licensing applications for medical marijuana businesses racing to comply with the new law. That moment exemplifies who I am as an attorney: steadfast, adaptable, and deeply committed to helping my clients achieve success, no matter the challenge.
